QUICKBALL CLINIC (Register Here)
Quickball is a high-speed, low-pressure baseball training sport – a hybrid program that teaches but doesn’t dictate.  Mixing physically-active game play with individual accomplishment and style, Quickball is revolutionizing baseball programming for young players.

HOLIDAY HITTING CLINIC (Register Here)
The Holiday Hitting Clinics will be led by Villanova University Baseball Assistant Coach, Lee Saverio.  Coach Saverio has been a fixture within the Philadelphia baseball community throughout his career.  Lee served as head coach of Cheltenham High School, La Salle University, St. Joseph’s University and has owned Total Instructional Baseball Camp for over 25 years.  In addition, Coach Saverio worked as a scout for the New York Mets and the Philadelphia Phillies Baseball Clubs. This is a great opportunity to learn from an established coach!

50/70 BASEBALL CLINIC (Ages: 11-13yrs)

Players will be instructed in all areas of the game.  Offensive work will include Athletic Hitting, Developing a Plan at the Plate, Situational Hitting/Offense, Leads, Stealing an Base Running.  Infielders will work on fundamentals, developing the “internal clock”, holding on runners, double-plays, tag plays and relays.  Outfielders will work on fundamentals, throwing to targets, anticipation and managing angles.  Pitchers will learn how to manage the running game, pick-offs, PFP’s, backing up bases.  The transition from the 46/60 field to the 50/70 field is a crucial phase in a player’s career.  The increased field size and advanced rules can overwhelm a player both physically and mentally.  This program will educate players and prepare them for the next level prior to the 2019 season!

BASKETBALL CLINICS

This clinic is a great opportunity to learn the fundamental skills necessary to become a successful basketball player. Every session will focus on specific skills needed to be a competitive team player. The skills covered are ball handling, passing, shooting, rebounding, defense and game management.

Phield House Basketball Skills will continue to focus on sportsmanship, teamwork, and basketball fundamentals. We will continue to build off the basics of basketball. The Skills curriculum will allow children to advance their basic skills of dribbling, passing, and shooting into a game setting.

LITTLE DRIBBLERS (4 – 7 yrs):
Little Dribblers Basketball will focus on the fundamentals of basketball, teamwork, and sportsmanship. This curriculum allows children to begin to develop self-confidence on the court, how to work with a team, and learn the basic rules of basketball. This is a co-ed program developed for children ages four to seven years old.

LACROSSE CLINICS

SUMMER LACROSSE CLINICS (Register Here):
The Phield House Lacrosse Clinics, with former collegiate All-American Anthony DiSanzo, will focus on developing the fundamental skills needed to become a successful player.From picking up ground balls, to cradling, passing & catching, shooting, face-offs and playing proper defense, this camp will give your child the fundamentals they need to reach the next level.

1st START LACROSSE PROGRAM:
1st start lacrosse is a program dedicated to younger boys and girls who are looking to start lacrosse and get comfortable with a stick in their hands! No equipment needed, just a lacrosse stick and tennis ball that will be provided every session. At 1st Start, you will learn the game from experienced teachers and coaches from the area who have all played the game at a high level. You will learn lacrosse every week through fun drills and games!

PHIELD HOUSE FUNDAMENTAL LACROSSE CLINIC (6 – 12 YRS):
This clinic, for both boys and girls, will be for the beginner playing wanting to learn the fundamental skills of the game of lacrosse. This includes scooping, cradling, passing/catching, shooting, defense and working to develop an individuals lacrosse IQ.

PHIELD HOUSE LACROSSE SHOOTING CLINICS for boys and girls will be a five-week program focusing on the proper shooting technique to succeed on the field. Each week will focus on a specific aspect of shooting and will develop in every player the fundamentals needed to become an offensive threat with the ball. These clinics will begin with the basic fundamentals of shooting and include sessions on shooting on the run, shooting with Time and Room and then finish up with drills to increase your overall shooting IQ. These clinics will be taught by Anthony DiSanzo, former two-time collegiate All American at Cabrini College.

PHIELD HOUSE FUNDAMENTAL YOUTH LACROSSE CLINIC for boys and girls will help demonstrate that a players performance has a direct correlation to when they are taught the proper techniques to succeed on the field. This Sunday morning youth clinic will give the younger generation a chance to learn the proper techniques and practice tools to enhance their game and get ahead of the competition. These clinics will be taught by Anthony DiSanzo, former two-time collegiate All American at Cabrini College.

FIELD HOCKEY CLINICS

INTRO TO FIELD HOCKEY – New to field hockey? Or has it been a while since you picked up a stick? No problem! Focus will be running 3 hour long introduction to field hockey clinics for the U8, U10 and U12 age groups at Phield House! If you would like to attend, please email kristen@focusfieldhockey.com

SKILLS CLINICS – Focus will be running skills clinics for athletes in the U8, U10 and U12 age groups on the dates below. Each clinic will focus on gaining an understanding of a fundamental skill and small-sided games. All clinics will be run by either Kristen McCann, Julia Young or Lauren Moyer!
