Phield House Programs



Phield House will be looking to offer opportunities for our adult community to workout in a variety of different classes as we move ahead with our programming. From Fitness Classes and Boot Camps to Speed & Agility training and Yoga, we are looking to increase the opportunities for the adult community that visit Phield House. Whether you are trying to maintain and improve upon a current level of fitness, or look to get back in to better shape, we will be adding offerings to make this possible.

SPRING INTO SHAPE FIT CAMP – Sixty minute full body workout utilizing body-weight exercises that focus on strength, cardio and core!!! Get ready to train hard, have fun and get fit for the spring time. This class will meet every Thursday, starting March 15th at 6:00 AM. $15/class with packages available as well.

ADULT YOGA This is for any parent looking for a little “ME” time; the casual “Yogi” looking for a great workout: or the Athlete looking to enhance their overall performance. This is an ALL-Level class that will link breath and movement along with strengthening your core. A certified instructor will help to get your body and mind rejuvenated.

Active Stars (Register Here):
The Active Stars after school program will be an hour of FUN and GAMES with one of our activity specialists. Your kids will be active, entertained and learning new skills.

PHIELD HOUSE BASKETBALL FUNdamentals (Register Here):
This clinic is a great opportunity to learn the fundamental skills necessary to become a successful basketball player. Every session will focus on specific skills needed to be a competitive team player. The skills covered are ball handling, passing, shooting, rebounding, defense and game management.

Who: Co-ed
Ages: 6 – 8yrs
When: Wednesdays, Oct. 10 – Nov. 14 *No Class Oct. 31*
Time: 3:30pm – 4:30pm

Phield House Basketball Skills will continue to focus on sportsmanship, teamwork, and basketball fundamentals. We will continue to build off the basics of basketball. The Skills curriculum will allow children to advance their basic skills of dribbling, passing, and shooting into a game setting.

SPEED & AGILITY (Register Here)
Athletes will work on fundamental movements and drills to further improve their speed and agility in their prospective sports. They will be challenged and encouraged to push their limits and get the most out of the 5 week session. Led by Coach Zach Schwartz, a certified personal trainer with a long background in coaching and playing baseball, he will give the athletes tools they can use to take their game to the next level.

Time: 4:00pm – 5:00pm

Designed to improve players overall skills – throwing, hitting, fielding, and base running. Led by Coach Zach Schwartz, with a long background in coaching and playing at the collegiate level at Bloomsburg University.

When: Mondays, Oct. 1 – Oct. 29
Time: 5:00pm – 6:00pm

Quickball is a high-speed, low-pressure baseball training sport – a hybrid program that teaches but doesn’t dictate.  Mixing physically-active game play with individual accomplishment and style, Quickball is revolutionizing baseball programming for young players.

SPORTS YOGA (Register Here)
Sports Yoga is designed to compliment your high-intensity movement of choice.  This class focuses on focus, flexibility, mobility, and balance – for peak performance during sports and in life.

Who: Co-ed
Grades: 5th & up (parents & caregivers welcome)
When: Wednesdays, Sept 5 – Oct 3
Time: 3:30pm – 4:30pm
Cost: $100

Junior Scholar-Athlete:
Promote an academic enrichment program that combines supervised homework time with physical activities, logic games, arts & crafts.

Basketball Skills (12-14 yrs):
In our skills clinics, Phield House coaches will work to balance a competitive mindset while working to improve the fundamental skills level of all of our players. Players will learn the fundamentals of the game with age-appropriate drills and small-sided games that will help develop the overall basketball IQ of all of our participants.

FUNdamentals of Soccer (6 – 8 yrs):
The Phield House FUNdamental soccer program emphasizes individual skill development in a fast-paced environment. All clinics are taught by our coaches who push players to improve their overall skills in a fun, fast-paced environment.

Soccer Skills (9 – 11 yrs):
Players develop individual skills and field awareness in small-sided drills and games. Phield House coaches will focus on each player’s individual needs and help to improve those skills needed for play at the next level.

“Little Yogi’s” Yoga:
The Phield House “Little Yogi’s” yoga class is designed for ages three to five years and will help increase your child’s coordination, flexibility and strength. Little Yogi’s will help instill the importance of taking care of your body and will encourage mindfulness at an early age.
